peer support services

Founded in 2009, Canerows is our peer support service aimed at improving mental health care, particularly for people from BME backgrounds.

The Ward Visiting team provide weekly visits to all local mental health wards, offering support and consulting with them about ways of improving their hospital experience.

Our Post Discharge Peer Support service  provides additional support to people in the months after they leave hospital.

Peer Workers will have themselves experienced mental ill health and have been in hospital, and undergo accredited training for these roles as a requirement.

Anyone interested in training to become a Ward Visitor should contact This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.  on 02072071786.
