We particularly welcome applications from people with personal experience of mental ill health. Supervision is given. Basic expenses can be paid by arrangement.

1) MANAGEMENT SUPPORT VOLUNTEER

Required for business planning excercise involving major fundraising project leading to own premises and more financial self sufficiency - experience in this area is essential.

2) TRUSTEE/COMPANY DIRECTOR

Why not join our Management Committee? This welcoming group, the majority of whom are users of mental health services, plan and steer the charity and ensure that projects deliver and are on budget and take on all the statutory responsibilities of charity trustees. You will need to be availability on Monday evenings once a month and a commitment of a minimum of six months is essential. There is also scope for further input to Sub Committees during the day. Previous experience in Management in any setting, HR or Finance would be an advantage, but we are also in need of people with experience of education, the arts and mental health services. Enthusiasm, reliability and a patient and flexible approach are perhaps more important as training will be given. This post would be ideal for someone wishing to know more about mental health, the arts, how companies and charities work, It could be a route for transferring skills to the voluntary sector or a preparation for a post in management.
