There is no charge for referrals for residents of Wandsworth who are under the care of our local community mental health teams. We can accept funded referrals from residents of other London boroughs, subject to availability. Unfortunately we are unable to accept referrals from other areas. Education

Those who wish to attend our accredited (Open College Network) education courses at Level 2 in music technology and sound engineering can do so without charge. New courses begin at 3 monthly intervals. Ring for details.

Booking Agency

Performers with a track record of performing to an audience and a rehearsed 20 minute set (solo) or 45 minutes (band/ensemble) who are resident in London can register with ‘Count Me In’ our booking agency for work. This is free of charge and Sound Minds will provide practical and training support. . We currently have musicians, workshop leaders, magicians and jugglers on our books.

Referral Procedure

Please call to discuss the referral in the first instance. A written referral and a written agreement on funding is essential should you wish to proceed. There is a waiting list for most of our sessions, so please be prepared for a delay before a place can be offered – jn some cases this may be as long as three months from the initial contact.
New attenders are offered an initial visit and then normally a half day per week attendance only, which includes one 2 hour session matched to the attenders interests, taste and ability. Membership also allows access to Sound Minds regular artistic and social events.
