Course code:

About 12 weeks, 2 hours per week

NEXT COURSE STARTS: Spring 2014

Course Leader: Phineas Cheshire

This course introduces you to computer music software Cubase, helping you learn everything you will need to set up music projects and make recordings. Skillls learn't in Cubase are transferable to most other popular music software. You will have use of a Mac based workstation for yourself and you'll get to try out our 16 track studio and range of microphones.

You will need

A basic understanding of computers - if you are new to Sound Minds this will be tested at the courses introductory meeting.

Previous knowledge of music software  such as our Music Production - MIDI course is helpful.

An enthusiasm for music is helpful too, but you do not need to be able to play an instrument or read music

There are no exams and no written assignments - all assessments are classroom based.
